WONDERING...

Sometimes your mind wanders
I wonder what it’s like to be so stupefyingly ignorant that you vote and act against the best interests of your spouse, your children, yourself, your aging parents and your country.
I wonder what it’s like to be so cold-hearted that you shrug your shoulders and take the side of a madman butcher who smiles as he shoots and murders starving, desperate humans begging for food.
I wonder what sickness drives some men to see women not as equal but as a toy for their perversion, the younger the better, even if they are girls.
Wonder if 27-year-old Karoline Leavitt feels sexually harassed, when Trump, her creepy 79-year-old boss, salivates about her saying, “It’s that face. It’s those lips. The way they move.” (I no longer wonder if Trump is in the Epstein files.)
I wonder what it’s like flocking to church with tens of millions of frauds, claiming to be Christians yet understanding nothing of Jesus’ teaching and how he lived with empathy and compassion. I wonder what pastors, who place their hands on a 34x felon, adjudicated rapist, and likely pedophile, are thinking? Do they read the Bible? Or Mein Kampf? Project 2025?
I wonder what it’s like being fake Christian extraordinaire Mike Johnson, a bootlicking wimp with nary a worthwhile accomplishment as House Speaker.
Wonder what it’s like to lie so much and accept so many lies that lying becomes second nature, reflexive, perfunctory.
I wonder what it’s like to be so into a cult that, if told it was so, you’d agree Earth is flat.
I wonder what it would be like to be so weak-minded you’d obediently agree, if Trump said it was so, that the New York Jets won last year’s Super Bowl.
Wonder what it’s like to be so pathetically gullible that you cling to the fantasy that Trump - despite decades of failed businesses and bankruptcies – is a smart businessman who knows how to run a complex government.
I wonder what it’s like to be so stupid as to believe RFK Jr. is better at medicine than Dr. Anthony Fauci. And that Pete Hegseth stands among great military minds like Ulysses Grant and Dwight Eisenhower.
I wonder what it’s like to look in the mirror and see Lucifer wearing a dunce cap.
I wonder if America can overcome the destructive acts of the Trump administration and regain its equilibrium?
Just wondering...
