Have you had enough?
Near the conclusion of the Kentucky Derby the public address announcer exclaims, “Down the stretch they come!” The same can be said as we approach the 2026 midterm election, which happens to be the most important election in American history.
What better way to put a rose on the otherwise embarrassing, juvenile, Trump-led celebration of America’s 250th anniversary than by steamrolling Republicans in November? Celebrate 250 years by reaffirming democracy – even with its warts and shortcomings – is superior to fascism. Turn out in overwhelming numbers at the polls to crush Republican cheating.
While on break I wrote the script, curated the photographs, and developed the storyboard for The Weekly Opine fall campaign video ad.
“Think About It” flowed easily and only took about 30 minutes to write (with zero help from A.I.). I spent additional time wordsmithing and collecting photos that became a PowerPoint storyboard (with no assistance from A.I.).
Assistance came from my next-door neighbor, Rob, a man fully committed to overthrowing MAGA. Rob is a pro and has produced and co-edited several of my video ads including “Cancelled,” “Fake Christian,” and now “Think About It.” Rob takes static PowerPoint slides and magically brings them to life, along with orchestrating the delicate balance between music and voiceover. He was also cameraman and producer when I interviewed Father Michael Pfleger two years ago. We wrapped up “Think About It” Sunday afternoon.
